The Cantor Ministry
Cantors are responsible for leading the congregation in liturgical song.
This is an important part of the music ministry and requires some
comfortableness with being in front of a large crowd by yourself and
also with reading and singing solo in front of others. If this
ministry is for you please contact the
Director of Music and Liturgy.
The Parish Choir
If you enjoy singing with others and enjoy singing the praise to God,
then the choir is for you! This is a volunteer ministry which
assists the congregation in singing and also provides enrichment to the
music used at Mass. We meet each week on Thursdays at 6:30pm for
choir rehearsals. The choir then sings for Masses twice a month at
alternating services. It is not necessary to read music to join
the choir, simply enjoy singing! If interested please contact our
Director of Music and Liturgy.
The Funeral Choir
The Funeral choir is also open to anyone who enjoys singing. The
Funeral choir is a volunteer ministry that assists families and the
parish in the celebration of the Christian Funeral Liturgy. The
choir meets once each month for a practice and is called upon frequently
for most parish funeral masses. Please contact the
Director of Music and Liturgy
for further information or to join.
